BMX RACE TRACKS

2008 saw BMX racing enter the Olympics for the first time as a permanent sport. This was after many years of young BMXers succeeding in alternate cycling disciplines after they had exhausted all avenues in BMX. The Media attention that BMX drew throughout the Olympics has now seen a rise in demand for BMX venues, as more youth are drawn to BMX racing as their new sport. Add this to the fact that BMX tracks are being used as during & after school sporting facilities, anti crime strategies and family recreational venues. The humble BMX track presents itself as an inexpensive community facility.

With regulations relating to their design and specific knowledge required during their construction, a BMX track can only be designed and constructed by those with experience in this type of facility. At Dirtz we have been responsible for the designing, building and re-building of competitive and recreational BMX tracks throughout Australia and Asia.

If you, your community group or Council are seeking information on how to go about getting a BMX track up and running, give us a call or email. We have designs and documents that will help you along the way.  Or you can download our "So you want to build a BMX facility" document.
